What is asset management?
Strategic asset allocation (SAA) is established with a long-term & macro perspective utilizing asset liability management (ALM) to create long-term/stable returns from insurance assets, and through a tactical asset allocation (TAA) strategy, investments flexibly corresponding to the market condition is pursued.
Major tasks
  • Establish of basic direction/strategy for investment management
  • Establish of short-long term investment manegement & investment earning/expenditure plan, controls between sections
  • Analysis of investment management performance & establishment changes
  • Collection of unformation on investment management environment changes
  • Interest rate & liquidity risk management
  • Total management of funds for the entire company
  • Establishment & operation of shot-term cash flow (Call, RP, MMF, MMDA etc.) plan
  • Specialized finance such as marketable secyrities, real estate development finance, real estate & SOC related fund devllopment
  • Establishment and execution of mid-long term operation plan for special accounts (variable insurance, retirement annyity etc.)
  • Establishment & management of special account outsourcing strategy
  • Special account asset valuation, accounting & settlement
